Founded in 2018, The Harlan Group - formerly known as the Old Florida Dream Team - has become a trusted name in Southwest Florida real estate. What began as a shared vision has grown into a powerhouse team of eight professionals who, in just five years, have closed nearly 800 transactions and generated close to a quarter of a billion dollars in sales. More than numbers, though, our commitment lies in building strong community partnerships and embracing continuous growth. At The Harlan Group, we believe real estate is more than buying and selling homes, it’s about empowering people and uplifting the communities we serve.

The Harlan Group, led by Jessica Nolan and Erin Harrel, Ph.D., is a dynamic real estate team specializing in both residential and commercial properties throughout Southwest Florida. Erin serves as the Director of Commercial Real Estate for Keller Williams Fort Myers and the Islands, while both she and Jessica bring extensive expertise as residential advisors and commercial brokers. Together, they combine strategic insight with a passion for helping clients achieve their goals in every facet of real estate.

    Dr. Erin Harrel has held many positions but her most noted and respected position is that of serving as a mother to three successful young adults.  Erin  started her career in education teaching both middle and high school. After several years of teaching, she moved into higher education where she has led a successful career for the

    past twelve years.  After leaving the college,  she started JRM Transforming Education working with organizations, schools and higher education institutions on strategic planning, organizational development and accreditation. Expanding her careers goals, she decided to follow in her mother's footsteps andventure into Real Estate. Capitalizing on her research background and strong network of friends and family, Erin joined the Keller Williams  in December of 2015. She specializes in residential, luxury and commercial properties.

    Erin believes that selling real estate is more than just focusing on the sale but provides the perfect platform to give back to our community. As a foster parent for at risk kids in Lee, Collier and Charlotte, she gives a portion of her commission from every sale back to at risk kids. In 2021, she co-founded the Old Florida Dream Team Foundation that supports homeless and foster middle and high school students.  She believes it is our duty to always pay it forward by Serving and Strengthening our community!

    Jessica Weathers Nolan is a proud native of Fort Myers and Alva, deeply rooted in the community she serves. Together with her husband, John, she nurtures a loving family and takes pride in raising two remarkable children: Maggie, an attorney in Tampa, and Jack Nolan, a partner on the Harlan Group serving clients from the Tampa area south through Naples.

    With a career spanning nearly three decades, Jessica has become one of the most respected and knowledgeable real estate professionals in Florida. Her journey began in 1995 at RE/MAX Realty North in Tallahassee, where she sharpened her skills and built a foundation of client-first service. She went on to gain valuable experience in the mortgage industry for six years before returning to her true passion—real estate—in 2004. At that time, she teamed up with her father, Boots Weathers, a respected veteran of more than 35 years in the business, to further solidify her expertise and leadership.

    Jessica is a founding Team Leader of the Old Florida Dream Team powered by the Harlan Group, part of Keller Williams Fort Myers and the Islands. Alongside her business partner, Erin Harrel, she has grown the team to cover all of Southwest Florida—from Tampa to Miami, including Fort Myers, Naples, Cape Coral, Alva, Labelle and beyond. Their team has earned recognition as one of Gary Keller’s Top 100 teams nationwide, a testament to their results-driven approach and commitment to clients.

    Her specialties span the full spectrum of real estate: luxury properties, commercial investments, acreage and horse properties, waterfront estates, and residential homes.
